Workshop: NFTs for Artists and Creators

NDSU is the first university in the country to host a workshop on NFTs Wednesday, March 24th, when they welcome Shea Newkirk to the Nice Craft webinar.

NFTs and The Creator Economy

Non-fungible Tokens (NFT’s) provide new ways for artists, creators, and more to verify authenticity of their digital work using blockchain technology. This has created new markets and ways to sell and own artistic work, culminating with the artist Beeple selling an NFT this month for a record $69 million.

On Wednesday, March 24th, The Nice Center kicks off its spring Nice Craft series entitled, The Creator Economy, with a focus on NFTs. This workshop is the first-of-its-kind for a university, and we are excited to welcome Shea Newkirk, better known as @CryptoStache, to teach us more about this hot topic of NFTs and their potential for creators.
