Techstars Selects Dieumerci Christel for Accelerator

Christel is the first NDSU student ever selected for a Techstars program and the second company from Fargo to receive the honor.

NDSU student Dieumerci Christel is no stranger to recognition.

The Co-President of the NDSU Entrepreneur Club has been selected previously as a WeFunder Workaway Founder and a Future Founders National Cohort member. This time, however, it’s different.

Christel, and his company Enlight, have been selected to participate in the Techstars Accelerator hosted in Austin, TX. He is the first NDSU student, and joins Fargo startup WalkWise as the second Fargo company, to be selected by Techstars. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, much of the accelerator will be conducted online, but Christel plans on visiting Austin at the end of the program to take advantage of his new professional network.

“I’m excited for adding a new family member to my ongoing family of supporters through my startup journey,” Christel said. “This Techstars family is even bigger and badder.”
