Creativity in Isolation - Webinar Series

At the onset of the pandemic, social distancing was our new reality. This was essential to protect our community.

We wanted to make sure that we took care of our individual health, both physical and mental. With this in mind, The Nice Center created the Creativity in Isolation workshop series.

Every Tuesday in April we explored topics related to working and taking care of oneself while in isolation. Watch the replays below.

Creativity in Isolation Webinars

  • 4/7: Mental Health in Times of Isolation

APRIL 7th at 1pm CST: Join us for an online webinar about taking care of ourselves during this time of global paranoia and manic media. We’ll connect with veteran, outdoor adventurer, documentary filmmaker, and mental health practitioner Stacy Bare who will share insights on how to take care of one’s health while living or feeling isolated. Everyone who registers will also receive a video replay in case you can’t make it.

  • 4/14: How To Work Alone Without Feeling Lonely

APRIL 14th at 1pm CST: Join us and our friend Matt Decuir, founder of The Invisible Network, for an online webinar on how to connect with inspiration and collaborators while working alone. We’ll talk about how to stay focused, create amazing work, and connect with others virtually during this time of social distancing. All registrants will receive a video replay in case you can’t make it.

  • 4/21: Deep Work in Isolation

APRIL 21st at 1pm CST: Join us for an online webinar about conducting deep work when alone. In this session, you’ll learn how sprints of focused, alone time can help develop creative work. We will welcome California-based creative director Jon Joiner to share with us how alone time can improve our creativity. All registrants will receive a video replay in case you can’t make it live.

  • 4/28: Designing the Perfect Home Office

APRIL 28th at 1pm CST: Join us for an online webinar about tools and techniques that will help you thrive in your remote work. We’ll be joined by Camille Grade, our friend from Bushel, a software company specializing in mobile apps serving the agricultural industry. She’ll talk about the latest software (and hardware) needed to keep your work-life balance, even when work has come home with you. All registrants receive a video recording in case you can’t make it live.
