Supporting the Community During COVID-19

An ecosystem is essential for entrepreneurship. Right now, the ecosystem needs help.

Like many of us, The Nice Center wants to help our community get through the pandemic. That means supporting the businesses, workers, makers, and entrepreneurs across the state.

But, we can’t do it alone. Take a look at the ways you can get involved below.

COVID-19 Response Efforts

We’re helping the community and want you to join us.

  • CO.STARTERS Rebuild
This live-facilitated, 10-session program will help you refocus your business, stabilize it, and build toward long-term recovery. Working with a dedicated group of like minded peers, you’ll cover topics relevant to the current COVID-19 challenges in a series of ten 2.5-hour sessions.
  • Nice.Help
Struggling due to current events? If you’re an individual, a small business, or a nonprofit that’s been negatively impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, economic downturn, or inequality — there is relief for you. We’ve compiled the most comprehensive list of resources to help North Dakota residents (and our MN neighbors) weather these crises and emerge with stability and strength.
  • #SaveSummer
The best way to slow the spread of COVID-19 is social distancing. The Nice Center is teaming up with the City of Fargo, businesses, and organizations throughout the community to reminder young people to stay home. Help spread the word.
  • COVID-19 Data Visualization
We are trying to flatten the curve, but how do we know if it's working? The #SaveSummer team is teaming up with The Nice Center and Lemonly to visualize the cases in ND and SD on a county level to see if our efforts are working.
  • Care19 - App for COVID Contact Tracing
Anonymous contact tracing to fight COVID-19 is now a reality thanks to the Care19 app. Just download the app and it will alert you if you've been exposed. Learn how NDSU inspired its creation in this video.
  • InThisTogetherND
The Nice Center is working with the Department of Commerce to share positive stories of North Dakotans helping one another get through the pandemic. Help us by sharing your stories.
  • Creativity in Isolation Webinar Series
Every Tuesday in April, The Nice Center is hosting a webinar to help inspire creativity during times of isolation. Join our webinars and help spread the word.
